Founded in 1973 by the current Managing Director, Andrew Porter, the company has steadily built up a first class reputation as a quality mover and storer in the domestic, overseas and commercial industry. The move into new furniture distribution had been gradual in the early years, However in 1995 the company took the opportunity to become a specialist in new furniture home delivery and retail distribution.

Andrew Porter Ltd now occupies a purpose built distribution centre, 35,000 sqft pallet storage facility and 110,000 sqft general warehousing space and operates over 70 specialised vehicles and over 200 fully trained staff.

The company has always prided themselves on handling the furniture correctly and with care. This has been one of their major strengths in building up the operation and has enabled them to gain a reputation as a first class distribution company.
