Andrew Porter Ltd has a wealth of expertise in commercial removals requiring specialist skills.
Recently, these have included:
- Whiston Hospital – removal, relocation and disposal operations of 13 departments moving into new-build or refurbished accommodation at the site in Merseyside, including pathology, mortuary, finance and switchboard.
- University of Central Lancashire – Andrew Porter Ltd was appointed to load and store all books and shelving from UCLan’s central library, Preston, during major refurbishment. The 430,000 books and 14,000 metres of shelving were kept in Andrew Porter Ltd’s secure storage warehouse during the seven month project, in 6,500 crates.
- University of Salford – This project involved disposal of outdated furniture in 21 accommodation blocks at the University of Salford, which Andrew Porter Ltd were able to dispose of to the desired standards as an approved waste carrier registered to the Environment Agency (EAN/960318). New furniture was then moved into the flats, with special care being taken due to the accommodation recently being redecorated.
