Andrew Porter Limited strengthens its team with new appointments

Lancashire-based removals, storage and furniture logistics firm Andrew Porter Limited has strengthened its team with four new appointments.

Saul Emberton from Tarleton has been appointed to the newly-created role of office and commercial sales manager, bringing with him 10 years' experience in office and commercial relocation.

Saul will focus on winning new clients and promoting Andrew Porter Limited's expertise in the commercial removals market.

Managing director of Andrew Porter Limited, Tim Aspey, said: "We are very pleased to be strengthening and expanding our team at what is undoubtedly a difficult time for our industry.  We are very proud of our growing reputation in the commercial removals sector and are keen to expand upon our success which is why we have created this new role, for which Saul was the ideal candidate."

In the furniture logistics arm of the business, former retail planning manager, Henry Worsley from Chorley, has been promoted to transport manager after the retirement of previous post-holder Chris McGathan who had been with the firm, based in Adlington, for 20 years.

Chorley resident Tom Howarth, previously of Eddie Stobart, has been appointed as retail planning manager and Lyndsey Hamer from Westhoughton takes on the role of deputy to the transport manager, joining Andrew Porter Limited from Blackrod-based Remondis.
