Andrew Porter Limited is celebrating a successful start to the new year by securing a three-year contract with a national retailer.
Weekly payment store Perfect Home has extended its contract with Andrew Porter Limited, based in Adlington, near Chorley, to handle all of its UK retail distribution and warehousing services.
The move comes as Perfect Home, which has 45 UK stores, embarks on an expansion programme. Andrew Porter Limited has worked with Perfect Home for three years and has some of the UK's largest and best known furniture retailers and manufacturers as its clients, including HSL and Furnico.
Managing director of Andrew Porter Limited, Tim Aspey, said: "We are very proud of our strong and loyal customer base in the furniture logistics sector and it is great for us to be further building on that with a further contract extension.

Andrew Porter Limited also provides an outsourced service centre at its warehouse for Perfect Home staff to repair and recycle returned goods.
Andrew Porter Limited operates from the largest purpose-built distribution centre in the North West, comprising 300,000 square feet of general warehousing and 35,000 square feet of high bay pallet storage space. It currently carries out in excess of 3,000 home and retail deliveries a week for many major high street retailers, mail order companies and furniture manufacturers.
