Lab relocation specialist to showcase two new services

Next week we will be showcasing our two newest laboratory relocation services at a leading life science trade event.

Genesis 2013 takes place at the QEII Conference Centre, Westminster, on Thursday, December 12.  It is organised by international life science and healthcare membership organisation OneNucleus, of which Andrew Porter Limited is a corporate sponsor.

Our team will be on hand to discuss our latest specialist lab services - the relocation and revalidation of assays, as well as independent third party post-move audits.  The new services are set to further enhance our impressive range of specialist laboratory relocation services, available to life science organisations all over the world.  Andrew Porter Limited already provides an integrated service for the relocation of laboratory equipment, data, research specimens and clinical materials.

John Best, European sales director at Andrew Porter Limited, said: "We are really looking forward to attending Genesis 2013 and letting everyone in the life science sector know about our innovative new specialist services. We believe they will significantly enhance the experience of our customers and allow our clients to invest their full confidence in our laboratory relocation process."

The third party audit service will allow contract research organisations (CROs) to obtain a third party laboratory audit after the relocation process. Moving to a new laboratory can be a disruptive process, and an independent audit provides clients with valuable reassurance and information, enabling them to record that all the correct procedures have been followed and that the integrity of their research has been maintained.

As Andrew Porter Limited has built up a wealth of experience in laboratory relocation, the company can provide reviews of the relocation plan and implementation as well as of a customer's new facility and operating procedures. These reviews are conducted to GLP/GCP standard and will allow CROs to save valuable time and money.

If laboratories are using assays to generate data, Andrew Porter Limited's new assay relocation and revalidation service could prove to be vital in ensuring they continue to perform as they should.

The relocations firm will make sure that as well as the laboratory equipment being properly moved and re-qualified, the assays are correctly re-established too. It will carry out validation experiments to ensure continuity and allow time in the plan for relocation for the work needed to achieve laboratory productivity for each assay involved in the move.

Andrew Porter Limited is the only laboratory relocation specialist in Europe to work to GxP standards.
