Our European sales director, John Best, is featured in the latest issue of European Pharmaceutical Contractor (EPC) magazine, sharing his expertise and giving advice on the potential pitfalls of a laboratory relocation.
John comments in the international publication: "It is an unfortunate fact that the mere idea of a laboratory relocation strikes fear into many research professionals, with the process being regarded as a potentially catastrophic event leading to – at best – a major disruption in research activity, which could cost hundreds of thousands of pounds in operational costs alone. At worst, there are potentially devastating consequences that could be caused through the loss or mishandling of unique research samples."
Within the four page article, he outlines some of the areas which require careful planning and consideration and gives advice as to how to ensure a laboratory relocation runs smoothly.
John has extensive industry experience in life sciences logistics, and in the project management of major lab relocations in Europe and internationally.
He says: "I was delighted to be approached by such a well respected publication as EPC magazine and I am always happy to share my knowledge and advice within the industry.
