We are proud to have become a member of the United Kingdom Science Park Association (UKSPA).
We carry out laboratory relocation projects of all sizes including assisting those customers relocating a single piece of equipment within a lab, as well as working with some of the industry’s leading pharmaceutical companies, project managing large multi-phase moves.
Uniquely, Andrew Porter Limited can provide an integrated relocations service for laboratory instrumentation, data, specimens and cold chain materials and it is the only firm of its type in Europe to work to GxP standards.
European sales director, John Best, said he felt it was important to join the UKSPA in order to be easily accessible to the association’s 4,000 tenants throughout the UK.
“Many laboratory firms can still think of a relocation project as a major commercial threat, but with our levels of expertise and our truly turnkey service, this is no longer the case,” he said.
“Whether it’s an internal churn project or a large scale move, we are looking forward to working alongside UKSPA members and their tenants. We have also recently added two new services to further complement our portfolio, in the revalidation of assays and independent third party laboratory audits to GLP/GCP standard, which can undoubtedly assist a lot of the smaller to medium size organisations that the UKSPA members serve.
“We are thoroughly looking forward to being an active member of the UKSPA and being involved in whatever capacity we can.”
Andrew Porter Limited provides full project management and can oversee customs clearance processes for overseas moves. The firm employs a fully qualified dangerous goods safety advisor and uses specialist packing and handling equipment to ensure the secure transportation of assets. It is the only laboratory relocations provider to have its own in-house training centre, where crews are taught the practical and regulatory necessities of relocating a lab.
